An alternative to Fernandinho .. Manchester City tracks "Rice" West Ham player

The Sun has revealed that Manchester City has begun to follow Declan Rice of West Ham United.

The Spanish coach Pep Guardiola knows well that he will need to add a replacement to Fernandinho but the deal will not take place in the coming period.

The Sun pointed out that Guardiola was chasing Rice, although the player renewed his contract last month to continue in West Ham until 2024.
It was the young West Ham player who caught the attention of Pep, where Rice emerged as one of the most promising young players of the season after becoming the main player in a significant midfield.

The 19-year-old has been with his team this season so far in 19 games (18 league titles - UEFA Cup match).

The Sun added that Rice's chances of joining the Confederation Stadium will increase over the coming summer, especially with the arrival of Brazilian player Fernandinho, who has completed his 33rd year.
