Klopp: Kompany almost finished the Salah season .. How was not exposed to expulsion?

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp has criticized referee Anthony Taylor for not dismissing Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany after his intervention against Mohammed Salah in the Premier League.

"I really love Kompany, but how did he not get a red card? He was the last player on the pitch and he stepped in," Klopp said after the game.
"If he beats Mohammed Salah even more, his season will end completely. It was not easy for the referee and maybe he did not see the game as I saw it."

Kompany takes a yellow card after coming in against Mohammed Salah in the first half of the game.

"It was not the best game for us, not for Manchester City, because we were all hard on each other. I told players it was okay, we lost but something like that could happen. Tonight it was not good but it was not the biggest problem."

Liverpool maintained their lead in the Premier League despite losing 2-1 to Manchester City, who remained second and narrowed the gap to four points.
